My photography class is now over but I have still been practicing my photography skills (I just haven’t gotten around to posting any photos lately!) In November, my husband and daughter and I went for a walk at the Great Plains Nature Center in Wichita, Kansas. I of course, brought my camera. Since it was November and not a very colourful season, I wasn’t sure there would be anything too interesting to take photos of but I was surprised at what I found.
Here are some photos from our afternoon walk!
My daughter had a camera with her and she took a photo of my husband and I (with the sun in our eyes) I had my camera around my neck which is how I can usually be found these days. Typical me so I thought I would share it.
Friday is here again! I am looking forward to having my family home for the week-end! Have a Super Day!
I took a photography class is this past year, too. Some of my most colorful pictures were taken this past fall, which also surprised me. Now the challenge will be to find color in the winter.
It is amazing what you can find when you are actually paying attention!! I have not been out taking in photos this winter, but maybe I should!! Thank-you for writing!!
You are getting really good, Mary! I especially love the tree with the tennis balls, the mud with the birds tracks, and the lovely photo of John and you with the camera around your neck (Makes it look like “portrait of a photographer and her husband”). Keep sending them…
Thank-you Kristin!! I do love taking photos! Are you familiar with those “tennis balls”? I posted about them once before… hmmm, what was it called. I will check and let you know.
Here it is! http://prytulka.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/photography-101week-1/
Have a look at the hedge apple photos if you didn’t see them. They are SO cool.
